Lunagram is the digital imprint of Sean M. Palfrey (AKA Imago Mortis / Tenderness of Wolves) as a mechanism for printing and distributing ‘Zines, Books, and Music.

Lunagram began initially as the digital records label ‘Lunagram Recordings’ which published the music of Tenderness of Wolves – A Darkwave / Witch House musical project by Sean M. Palfrey that explores the themes found in his visual works but in a musical form. To date, Lunagram Recordings has release one demo EP, two Singles, and a further EP, with a full-length album coming soon. The releases can be found through the Lunagram Bandcamp page, as well as through streaming sites and other digital download stores via Distrokid.

Lunagram was then expanded to ‘zine publishing via Blurb.com – this allowed the production of the first two volumes of ‘Book of Shadows’. The ‘zines aim to be an ongoing retrospective of the various multi-media artworks produced by Sean M. Palfrey under his Imago Mortis moniker, with an emphasis on the visual reproduction of the photography and artworks produced over his career that can also be removed and framed.

Finally, Lunagram was expanded once more into book publishing. This has been achieved by the use of Blurb.com as well, which provides the distribution to major book retailers. The first planned releases are:

“Psalms for Insomniacs” A collection of previously published and unpublished poems and drabbles.  And “Apocryphal Fungi” A photographic exploration of British woodland fungi and their magical uses.

We will also be looking at republishing classic public domain works such as Carmilla and Dracula with new introductory essays and custom artwork by Sean M. Palfrey in the near future.
